Members receive invitations to the monthly mixers, a great networking tool. Members are also eligible to provide coupons, or promotional gifts to be placed in visitor bags which are distributed to groups visiting comfort.
Members also can receive a listing on the Comfort Chamber website at no charge with a link to members’ sites. The Chamber also promotes our member’s on the website and maintains a presence on Facebook. In addition Member Events are promoted in our Chamber Newsletter, “The Weekly Wind”. The Chamber retains the services of the advertising agency, Shirley Wills & Associates, which furnishes press releases and information to publications, TVand radio.
Chamber businesses also can advertise throughout the Chamber website as a “featured business” which will show your business on every page of the site, plus special placement on the front page of the chamber site under the tab “Businesses Featured this Month.”
When ribbon cuttings are held for a new member, The Comfort News and Hill Country Weekly newspapers are invited to cover the event. The Chamber staff operates the Chamber Office/ Visitor’s Center where member’s brochures, cards and info are displayed and distributed. The Chamber provides and distributes publications such as the Membership Booklet, the Comfort Texas Brochure, and the B&B brochure with member’s names listed under appropriate categories.
The Comfort Chamber of Commerce works to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of Comfort. The dues are structured to permit even the smallest business as well as private individuals or non-profit organizations to become a member. Yearly Membership Dues are $175.00 for business; $100.00 for non-profit 501(c)3 and $75.00 for individuals
