Independence Day Celebration
offers a day filled with live music, art, vendors, a silent auction, games and a BBQ Lunch in the Park
All of this starting with a Children’s Bike Parade followed by our 10AM Independence Day Parade which flows into the 11AM – 1:30PM BBQ & Events in the Park until 3PM. Park events will be followed by live music in numerous locations throughout the community during the afternoon and evening.
SHOPS WILL BE OPEN! – don’t miss visiting these UNIQUE AND INTRIGUING locations!!!
Plus (time TBD) the Little Theater will give a rendition of the Great and Historic Comfort Cannon Caper from the 1800s – A MUST see.

The 2022 Independence Day Celebration will take place on Monday, July 4th.
A Children's Bike Parade will start the day on High Street between 8th and 6th Street followed at 10AM by the Independence Day Parade
A BBQ in the Park will follow from 11AM to 1:30 plus live music, a Silent Auction, and events until 3PMAn Apple Pie Contest will be featured in the park with entries due at the park starting at 10AM. Judging before noon. Details for entry are located under 'Event Form' on this website or through the Chamber Office. Face Painting is FREE with contributions toward Scholarships! Games for all ages. Booths with a variety of merchandise, art, jewelry & tasty treats from 11 to 3pm. Live music from 11 to 2:00pm. A silent auction filled with treasures from 11am to a time to be determined - possibly about 2pm. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!
Festivities in Comfort's Historic Downtown and throughout the community!
Live Music & Comfort's Got Talent Contest throughout the Downtown Historic District.Additionals details will follow. Forms will be posted in May.
The Little Theater will reenact Comfort's Historic Cannon Caper in the Backyard, sometime in the afternoon or evening on 7/3/22, at a time TBA..
