Christmas in Comfort, one of the area’s most popular holiday events, will draw visitors to the Texas Hill Country for holiday shopping and family fun at the end of November, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The event, which started with a handful of local residents manning a few booths in the historic district, now offers more than 125 art and craft vendors and a full day of holiday activities from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Plan to join in for Christmas in Comfort on November 25, 2023. The lighted night parade begins at 7PM.
Located just 30 minutes from San Antonio, Comfort provides the perfect setting for a small town Christmas. With a population of 3,000 and a rich history, Comfort brims with character and charm. The star of the German-pioneered Texas Hill Country, Comfort has nearly 100 pre-1910 buildings within walking distance of the town center and a large part of Comfort has been designated a National Historic District. Amid this historic setting, Comfort offers great shopping, antiques, wineries, restaurants, and unique bed and breakfasts and other types of lodging.
