Join us for the annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025 in Comfort, Texas!

The festivities kick off at 9:30 AM with a charming bicycle parade for the little ones, followed by our beloved small-town parade. Marvel at the sight of antique cars and trucks, creative floats, shiny fire trucks, motorcycles, and enthusiastic bicyclists as they make their way through the Historic District of Comfort.

After the parade, the fun continues at Comfort Park! From 11 AM to 2:00 PM, enjoy mouthwatering hot dogs and hamburgers, potato salad with all the fixings, and don't forget to check out the pie contest, only $5 to enter—whether you're competing or tasting, it's sure to be a delicious time. Adding to the excitement, the dazzling Miss Comfort Court Pageant will be held at noon at the beautiful Comfort Pavilion. Explore an array of vendor booths, enjoy live entertainment, participate in our silent auction, and let the kids enjoy the games like waterslide and dunking booth. The celebration lasts until 2 PM, offering plenty of time to soak up the festive atmosphere.

Head back downtown and enjoy Comfort’s local shops—each one a unique, air-conditioned retreat filled with charm, hospitality, and treasures you won’t want to miss!
